Mostafa Nagy

Course Leader – Digital Film Practice, MetFilm School London

Mostafa Nagy is an award-winning producer/director with over 30 years of experience in the film, television, and broadcast industries. Throughout his career, he has worked with leading global organisations such as BBC, ITV, SKY, NBC, Al-Jazeera, NHK, and Disney, in various creative and managerial roles, including Head of Production and Global Operations Manager.

He holds a master’s degree in Filmmaking, a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education from the University of London, and a Production Management certificate from the National Film and Television School (NFTS). Mostafa is also a certified Avid Media Composer instructor, an Adobe Creative Educator, and an ARRI-certified trainer, delivering workshops on film cameras, lighting, and advanced editing software such as AVID, Adobe Creative Cloud and DaVinci Resolve.

As a dedicated educator, Mostafa is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (Advance HE) and has extensive teaching experience. He has served as the Film Programme Director at the University for the Creative Arts (UCA) in Farnham and lectured on various Film and TV production courses at institutions including Ravensbourne University. He is also the Technical Director of the London Breeze Film Festival, contributing his expertise to support emerging filmmakers and diverse voices. Mostafa remains involved in the film community, with ongoing projects in development, production, and post-production stages, reflecting his commitment to innovation and education in the film industry.
