Direct to MetFilm School

All international applications can be made direct with MetFilm School by creating an applicant account and submitting our online application form.

The application deadline is Friday the 29th of August 2025, if you require a visa to study with us. We highly recommend that applications are made before this date as they are processed on a first-come, first served basis.

The earlier you can apply the sooner we can issue you a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS), if you require a Student Visa to study in the UK.

We may be able to consider late applications on a case-by-case basis.

Direct to MetFilm School via an Approved Partner Institute

All overseas applications from approved partner institutions can be made directly with MetFilm School by creating an applicant account and submitting our online application form.

UCAS

You can apply for a UK Undergraduate Degree Level course via UCAS.

Applications can be submitted for multiple courses. We have created a helpful guide for your application.

In-Person Interview and portfolio reviews:
If it is required for your course, you can choose to attend your Interview/portfolio review in person at one of the MetFilm School colleges, which means that you will get a tour of the campus and get direct feedback from the tutor.
Interviews/ portfolio reviews can be conducted at any of our campuses and be applied to your chosen campus location, if the course is the same. This means that you can audition at one campus but decide to study at a different one.
Online interviews and portfolio reviews:
If you live abroad and are not able to travel, there is may be an option for some courses to complete the interview/portfolio review online via a zoom video call with one of our tutors. You will be able to ask them questions that you might have and get direct feedback from the tutor.
Portfolio Submission:
This is a submission of your work to be reviewed and feedback on the outcome shared by Admissions once the tutors have reviewed it. You would not speak directly with the tutor/ assessor and are usually given a timeframe to submit your work by.

The portfolio submission process is simple, and you will be satisfying the same requirements as you would for an in-person session. When requested, you just send your portfolio submission to us within a set deadline and a MetFilm School assessor will mark it, give their recommendation and our Admissions Team will provide feedback via email. We will endeavour to communicate the outcome and any feedback within one week.

Please check our Course Audition Guides here. Our course Interview guides will help you prepare for your in-person audition/ portfolio review or Zoom Audition (if applicable). It is important that you read each section to give yourself the best chance of obtaining a recommendation for your chosen course. We will send out the relevant guide to you when we invite you for your interview/ audition/ portfolio submission.
