For students exploring a cheaper, and potentially more exciting option, it is equally worth considering renting privately. It can be a great opportunity to have a ‘real city living experience’, explore alternative areas, and meet entirely different people. Room rentals can also be much cheaper, with some landlords being open to short lets.
