Jack Matthews
MA Mentor, MetFilm School Brighton
Jack is an online editor in television post-production. He is also an alumnus of MetFilm School Brighton, achieving his BA in Filmmaking in 2019. Since graduating, he has worked at several post-production facilities across Brighton and has contributed to over 70 factual and entertainment titles on the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5.
His credits include The Repair Shop, Interior Design Masters with Alan Carr and Saving Lives at Sea. Jack had the opportunity to work alongside BAFTA-winning actress Katherine Parkinson on a short film, where he worked as a Camera Operator and First Assistant Camera for the entire shoot.
He also supports the camera department as a DIT (Digital Imaging Technician) where necessary. Today, Jack holds the position of Online Editor at CODA Post Production in Brighton. This involves collaborating with the producers and broadcasters to ensure that their productions are technically and visually accurate and that they get the final coat of polish before being delivered to the channel. Jack is currently working on many new and returning productions ready to hit our screens this year and the next.
