Travel Cards
You can travel throughout West Yorkshire with a 19-25/Student Photocard, which can be pre-loaded for discounted travel on the bus and train. You can purchase this card online, or at a Travel Centre.
If you are planning on travelling around the UK, you might consider purchasing a railcard, which takes 1/3 off the price of all train tickets you purchase, and can be stored digitally on your phone. Find out more.
Rent Privately
For students exploring a cheaper, and potentially more exciting option, it is equally worth considering renting privately. It can be a great opportunity to have a real inner city living experience, explore alternative areas, and meet different people. Room rentals can also be cheaper, and some landlords are open to short lets.
We recommend looking through websites such as Roomies, Spare Room, Ideal Flatmate, and Right Move.
