Build Your First 3D Character in Four Weeks

Learn the basics of digital sculpting in Z-Brush, focusing on shaping forms, adding detail, and creating expressive characters.

Explore the fundamentals of anatomy as they apply to character design, including proportion, pose, and muscle structure.

Learn to retopologize and refine your character models in Maya, preparing them for texturing, rigging, or animation.

Gain an understanding of texturing workflows and learn how to render your character models for professional-quality presentation.

Develop your own character concepts and bring them to life in 3D, exploring the narrative and visual storytelling elements behind great character design.

Minimum Age: 18 at the start of the course.

This course is open enrolment and there are no entry requirements.

In order to get the most out of the course, you should be able to both speak and write in English to a reasonable standard.

Please be aware that we have a limited number of places available for each course intake and operate on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Duration: Four Weeks Full-Time (Monday – Friday, 10am – 5pm).
