Open Day, Audition & Interview Travel Bursary

Overview

As part of our commitment to fostering inclusivity and removing financial barriers, MetFilm School offers a travel bursary programme for prospective students attending our Open Days, auditions, and in-person applicant days within the UK.

This initiative aims to reduce the financial burden on applicants and ensure individuals from diverse socio-economic backgrounds have equal opportunities to engage with our institution.

You and one guest can use the bursary to reimburse travel expenses to our UK campuses, up to £50 in total.

All claims will require applicants to provide evidence that they have registered for and attended the event, as well as copies of travel receipts. Claims will be processed post-attendance, checked against our records for verification.
Please note that availability is limited, and claims are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Eligibility criteria

• The applicant must have attended an open day, audition, or in-person applicant day at a UK campus.
• Applicants who are Care Leavers, Care Experienced, or Estranged.
• Applicants or their families who receive external financial support, such as the Disabled Students Allowance, a 16 to 19 bursary, or Universal Credit. Students who previously received Free School Meals are also eligible.

How to Apply

1. Sign up for an open day, post-applicant event, or audition.
2. Attend the event and ensure your attendance is registered upon arrival.
3. Complete the form below, uploading travel receipts and providing evidence of financial support and/or Care status/experience or estrangement.
4. Our team will confirm your eligibility.
5. You will receive a reimbursement payment.

What Happens Next?

Applications must be submitted within two weeks of the event. Payments are typically processed within 30 days of receipt. Incomplete forms or forms with incorrect information may delay repayment.
