Intro to Producing is a two-day weekend course giving you a practical look at what producers do and how projects move from development through to delivery. Across workshops and tutor-led sessions, you will explore core producing responsibilities, the production cycle and how different teams work together to bring screen projects to life.

The Role of the Producer
Students will learn the role of the Producer, the key relationships and collaborations to include working with directors, commissioners, financiers, distributors and sales agents.
The Production Cycle
Students will learn the production cycle – pre-production, principal photography and post producing – enabling understanding the hierarchy of production works and the roles and responsibilities of the entire production team and the key collaborations.

Minimum Age: 18 at the start of the course.
This course is open enrolment and there are no entry requirements.
In order to get the most out of the course, you should be able to both speak and write in English to a reasonable standard.
Please be aware that we have a limited number of places available for each course intake and operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
