Professional equipment may not make you a professional filmmaker, but it certainly helps. This Autumn, we were thrilled to launch an exciting and exclusive partnership between MetFilm School London and facilities giants Procam and Take 2.
Our students now benefit from having access to a selection of kit across our range of courses, featuring state of the art Sony and ARRI camera technology and lenses, as well as the latest lighting equipment and camera support. The unique partnership ensures that the next generation of film and television professionals have the opportunities that are necessary to advance into an aspiring career in the industry.
As Europe’s leading digital cinematography hire facilities, Procam and Take 2’s expansive inventory includes the latest Sony, ARRI, RED, Panasonic and Canon cameras and equipment, used on productions such as The King’s Speech, The Imitation Game, Paddington and Peaky Blinders.
“Procam and Take 2 are honoured to partner with the world-leading MetFilm School as its exclusive camera suppliers,” said John Brennan, Procam Group CEO. “We are committed to supporting the next generation of film and television professionals by providing young talent with the skills and opportunities necessary to advance one’s aspiring career in the industry.”
Last month, we were pleased to celebrate the partnership at our third annual Smart Screen Creative Awards, with Procam and Take 2 sponsoring and providing equipment for the big night. Their equipment enabled our student crew to professionally capture every moment of the event, leading to our best video highlights to date. Speaking about the “fantastic evening”, John was quick to praise the “passion, energy and talent” of our students’ work across all categories.
