Paul Gormley
Head of School, MetFilm School Leeds
Dr. Paul Gormley is the Head of School at MetFilm School Leeds. He is an experienced film educator and manager, having held various roles at the University of East London since 2004, prior to joining MetFilm School, including Associate Dean and Head of Department.
He has written extensively about film, including The New Brutality Film: Race and Affect in Contemporary Hollywood Cinema (Intellect/University of Chicago Press, 2005), as well as making documentary films.
He is currently working on completing his next book, Everything You Wanted to Know About Film Theory but Were Afraid to Ask Tarantino. He is passionate about film education and its delivery to a new generation of students at MetFilm School’s new Leeds campus.
