Kasia Kaczmarek

Born in Poland and raised in Australia, Kasia studied Acting at the Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne before travelling to study Meisner at the Esper Studio.
She has worked in various Australian TV shows including City Homicide, Rush, The Dr Blake Mysteries, Mystery of a Hansom Cab, Jack Irish, Wentworth and Playing for Keeps. She also appeared in the US series Hunters for the SyFy Network. Kasia made her feature debut in The King’s Daughter, starring Pierce Brosnan, for Paramount Studios.
Kasia’s theatre credits include the Australian premiere of The One (fortyfivedownstairs/fire curtain co.), Cherry Orchard (Winterfall), We Get It (Elbow Room/MTC) and The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui (Theatreworks). Kasia is the Artistic Director of Fore Curtain CO., which supports the development of new work by Australian writers. She produced You Took the Stars for the 2014 Melbourne Fringe and The One at fortyfivedownstairs in 2015.
Kasia is a founding member of the MEAA Equity Diversity Committee which aims to promote and improve diversity in the Australian performing arts industry.
