He is currently developing his debut feature Beef, with Film4 and Delaval Film. Beef was shortlisted for the BAFTA Rocliffe New Writing Competition for Film, 2023.

Jack’s short films have been screened at numerous BAFTA and Oscar-qualifying film festivals. Doggerland, funded by the BFI Network and Intermission, premiered at the Oscar-qualifying HollyShorts Film Festival.

Lambing Season screened both nationally and internationally, notably winning the Audience Award at Leeds International Film Festival. The film went on to premiere online at the prestigious Short of the Week, followed by Omeleto, where it currently has over 300k views.

In 2022, Jack was selected from over 500 applicants for NETWORK@LFF, the BFI’s flagship development programme at the heart of the BFI London Film Festival. In 2020, he was offered BFI Network x BAFTA Crew Mentorship, and was paired with BAFTA award-winning Michael Pearce (Beast, Encounter). He is a BAFTA Connect Member, and an alumnus of EIFF’s bespoke feature development lab Talent Lab Connects, Screen Yorkshire’s Flex and a recipient of the John Brabourne Award.
