20-Week Part-Time Screenwriting

Through film analyses students learn how to recognise and use the techniques and methods specific to film.

Students learn how a director can prepare for a shoot using storyboards, script mark-ups and technical floor plans.

Students look at the art of visual storytelling through the development of an engaging and effective screenplay.

Students learn the different tasks and responsibilities of a screenwriter.

Students learn how to approach an agent and producer and how to present your project with an impact.

Minimum Age: 18 at the start of the course.

This course is open enrolment and there are no entry requirements.

In order to get the most out of the course, you should be able to both speak and write in English to a reasonable standard.

Please be aware that we have a limited number of places available for each course intake and operate on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Duration: 12 sessions over 20 weeks, Part-Time, Alternate Saturdays.
• Location: MetFilm School Campus at Ealing Studios.
