What were the most valuable skills you gained at MetFilm School?
“An appreciation of the importance of the language of cinema. e.g. ‘beats, when to cut a shot, the 180 rule and not needing to show everything. Also, learning about the ‘process’ of filmmaking was useful. i.e. Breaking the task down into manageable stages.”
What advice would you offer current students at film school?
“Don’t wait until your knowledge is complete because it never will be. Just make films and each one will help you make the next one.”
