What were the most valuable skills you gained at MetFilm School?
“How to work collaboratively and independently, and I also learned a lot about set etiquette. I learned a lot about the film industry’s work ethics, and what to expect at entry-level.”
What advice would you offer current students at MetFilm School?
“Be respectful of your clients’ time, and your own. Attend all the Masterclasses that you are able to while they are available – even the ones that you would not usually deem relevant to your preferred skillset.
Use Screen & Film School’s Industry Engagement scheme as much as you can, it is extremely valuable in getting you your first experience in the film industry. Keep in touch with your classmates and tutors, they are extremely useful contacts in this line of work.
Keep applying to jobs, don’t let one rejection discourage you from pursuing the career that you want.”
