BA (Hons) Acting for Screen – ScreenSpace*

BA (Hons) Acting for Screen – ScreenSpace*

Overview

Acting and performing in the screen industries these days requires a wide range of skills and understanding. We believe that in order to succeed as an actor in the screen industries – whether you want to act in high end drama, present on tv, or perform on social media – you need to understand the basics of film and content production as well as screen acting.

On the BA (Hons) Acting for Screen* programme at MetFilm School Leeds, we will equip you with the understanding, knowledge and skills to become a screen actor, performer and presenter – from working with character, subtext and script to specialist acting skills fit for the modern world. You will learn how to prepare for castings and auditions, and how to become the commensurate professional. And in parallel, you will learn and practice aspects of production such as story, directing actors, shooting a scene, and editing in parallel with screen acting.
