Support for those affected by harassment or sexual misconduct
If you have experienced harassment or sexual misconduct — whether recently or in the past — you are not alone, and support is available.
We understand that everyone responds differently to distressing experiences, and you deserve to be treated with dignity, respect, and care. This section outlines the support options available to you, both within the university and through external services. You do not need to have made a formal report to access support. Whether you’re seeking someone to talk to, practical advice, or help with your wellbeing or studies, we are here to listen and help you explore your options in a way that feels right for you.
But we understand that sometimes people feel more comfortable accessing external support services so we have also included links to organisations and resources that you might find helpful. Please don’t feel limited by the services listed below, and if you cannot find a support service that is applicable to you, please speak to a Student Wellbeing Advisor and they will be happy to search for additional services.
There is also information below about how BIMM University supports students facing an allegation of bullying, harassment or sexual misconduct.
