Met Film School does not offer its own student accommodation but has partnered with Central Studios Ealing which is a stylish, all-inclusive student accommodation in Ealing, perfectly located just 3 minutes’ walk from Met Film School.

London also has a wide variety of other accommodation options for students of all types. Depending on your budget and preferred level of independence, it is possible to find the ideal residence to suit your study, as well as enjoy the rich variety of exciting things the city has to offer.

To get you started, we have provided some options and advice to make your stay as easy as possible.

Oyster Cards

Student Oyster Photocards can be bought for use within London on trains, underground, buses and the London Docklands Light Railway. If you travel regularly on public transport it will be cheaper to buy a travelcard rather than single tickets. Transport for London (TFL) offers a student travelcard which gives a 30% discount to full-time students over the age of 18. Travel costs are dependent upon the zone you will be travelling from. So for instance, a travelcard for Zones 1-6 will be required to travel from Zone 6. Met Film School is located in Zone 3 at Ealing Studios, West London.

Rent Privately

For students exploring a cheaper, and potentially more exciting option, it is equally worth considering renting privately. It can be a great opportunity to have a real inner city living experience, explore alternative areas, and meet entirely different people. Room rentals can also be much cheaper, and some landlords are open to short lets.
