Arnica Miakista is currently setting up a documentary production company with former MA Producing graduate Karen Simon, Arnica has worked as Assistant Executive Producer at Spier Films, responsible for development and fundraising, since graduating. Her award-winning graduation film I Coolie has been seen at the UN and British Museum, with Arnica making regular appearances on panels to discuss its subject of indentured Asian labour in South Africa. Arnica is a Brand Ambassador for Non-profit Organisation, Kick Racism.
Award-winning producer currently working as Executive Assistant at Paramount Pictures. Her graduation film ‘Trigger Finger!’ has won several awards incl. Marbella Film Festival, IMDb Independent Shorts Awards and THAT Film Festival in Berlin and has further had many screenings amongst which is at the Chinese Theatre in Hollywood as part of Golden State Film Festival 2019.
Tristan Upton is working as an Account executive at an advertising production company, Hogarth. Mainly working on print and digital ads for Schroders.
Jamie Mills has recently landed the job of Development Researcher at Chalkboard Television, a post he achieved through the school. Since leaving the School he has been Development Intern at mega-indie TwoFour, Script Reader at Midsummer Films and Runner/Driver on MetFilm Production’s 23 Walks. In 2019 Jamie also produced web series Live With It which has received thousands of views on Facebook and YouTube, Dormant, a music video for indie-folk band Sandtimer and horror short The Silence of Running Water.
Currently working on her ambition to make it in television, Yasmin has worked as a runner for Multi Story Media, Open Mike Productions, GooWoo Media and Channel 5 on shows including The Last Leg (Channel 4) and Celebs on the Farm (Channel 5) since graduating in late 2018.
A 2018 graduate, Arnar can boast an exceptionally successful career producing feature films and television series in his native Iceland. Currently General Manager of Zik Zak Filmworks and CEO of Fenrir Films, his recent producing credits include feature Lily which has been written and directed by MA producing graduate Philip Staal.
Multi-talented Philip, runs commercials/content company Squid Flick making online videos and photography for clients including the Oslo Marathon, Rotary International and Nobel Catering. He is currently directing his first feature Lily for Fenrir Films, a company run by his MetFilm School fellow producing graduate Arnar Kristjansson.
Working for RED Digital Cinema at Pinewood Studios on graduation, Malick is now a Junior Newsroom Producer for broadcast and branding giants markettiers, a company whose clients include Adidas, Rolls Royce and the RNLI.
Graduating in 2016, Ibrahim has carved out an enviable career, first as the intern with MetFilm Production, next as Production Assistant on Vanity Fair and Strangers for ITV and Amazon Studios and now as a Producer at London Film Productions working on client films, shorts and documentaries in Paris, Tokyo and San Francisco.
Having picked up the Creative Excellence trophy at MetFilm School’s Smart Screen Creative Awards for her graduation film The Silent Generation, Arta found immediate employment in Sales and Acquisition at Bankside Films, a company with credits including Belle, Almost Adult and Jellyfish.
Graduating in 2018, Claudia found immediate employment with documentary specialists Grain Media as a Production Assistant before moving to Dixon Baxi, the international Brand Agency (clients include Amazon Prime, Vimeo and the V&A), in the same role.
Having picked up two trophies at MetFilm School’s Smart Screen Creative Awards, Petra landed the coveted internship with MetFilm Production where she worked on a number of features and documentaries. In August 2019, she joined former MA producing graduate, Ibrahim Kamel, as Production and Office Assistant at London Film Productions.

MA Directing graduate who’s graduation film ‘Alright.’ went viral on social media, and has been screened in several cities across the globe, including NYC at the United Nations Women HQ.
Writer/director whose work has been screened internationally and won numerous awards. Works on documentaries, corporate and short films as well as TV commercials.

Abel Diaz was commissioned by CBBC straight out of school to write 2 Episodes of their Award-Winning live-action/animation series, ‘Pablo.’ Abel’s blog, Abel’s Magic Lantern, shares his adventures in the screen trade with fellow writers and aspiring students.
Sonali Mehta is currently a Story Editor (or ‘Dream Extractor’ as their site puts it!) at Pocket Gems Games in San Francisco, makers of the successful War Dragons, as well as regularly writing coverage for LA company, Screenplay Readers.
Ali Hughes’ writing for ground-breaking Web Series Dreaming Whilst Black netted the show over 14 web series awards internationally, becoming voted #1 series in the world 2019. Ali’s feature script, Mignonette won multiple awards and was a London Film Awards finalist 2017. He is currently writing a pilot for BBC and his first feature, Numb, is in production.
Gianluca returned to his home in Northern Italy to take a position with the Trentino Film Commission, assessing projects to receive support shooting in the region.
Attila M. Csak
Now Senior Business Representative EMEA at Internet Agency Olipic, Attila is also developing his first feature with fellow Met graduate Tristan Upton at their company, Mayhaven Films.
After graduating, Daniel picked up an AD job on cult Netflix series, DARK. Since then he’s been writing and directing commercials, getting international attention from Coca Cola, Horizont, Shots, Creative Sources and Ads of the World.
Elise walked straight into a coveted internship with Heyday Films, makers of Paddington and Harry Potter, before returning to Australia to take up a Production job.
Jonna has been hired by Producer Anthony Alleyne to write a series for Swedish TV which majors on Jonna’s experience in Writing for Games.
Larry has been headhunted as a Script Analyst for MBC, the Middle East’s biggest media production network, while also running courses in his native Egypt on Genre Conventions – the concepts he studied at Met.
Nadine was shortlisted for the Century 21 Screenplay award, gaining Agent representation in the process. Her TV Pilot has got her through the doors with many major production companies, from MGM, Gaumont and HBO to Big Light, Duck Soup and more. Recently, her project has been selected for the prestigious Cine Kid development scheme.
After graduating, Omar interned as a Video Editor for CNN, and then joined a Writers Room in Jordan to create an animated children’s series for UNICEF.
After winning awards in France with his comedy, Le Monopole de Coeur, Paul is now in a Writers Room for Season 2 of StudioCanal’s new show, Validé.
Following up contact she made during the course with Frank Spotnitz’s Big Light Productions (Man in the High Castle), Renata won the position of Assistant Script Editor on Big Light’s series, Crossing Lines and Netflix The Indian Detective.
After graduating, Sebastian became a professor teaching Screenwriting in his native Columbia. He is currently writer/creator of the series, Interns, on Columbia National TV.
After winning the Live Ammunition Pitching Competition in London, Tommaso joined international advertising agency Wieden + Kennedy in Amsterdam as a copywriter.
On graduating, Paco won a position as Development Runner at Working Title TV, moving on to Production assistant at ITV Studios, working for ITV Head of Drama Kate Bartlett.
Seun Oyewole has been appointed Chief Editor at Africa MediaWorks Ltd.
Beniamino Vitagliano works at the Picture Production Company as a Motion Designer creating VFX showreels.
Natalia Barbican works as a commissioning video editor and producer at Stylist Magazine, creating content for its social media channels. She also has been working on a freelance basis with some major brands, and recently been commissioned to edit a series of videos for Fender Guitars. Recently Natalia launched her creative agency The Tëlka, that specialises in creating empowering content for brands, businesses and influencers. Natalia’s goal is to create more working spaces for women in film and to bring awareness to female-led companies.
Savani Mohite is on a 6 month paid internship at Access Infinity editing branded content.
Aishwarya Sangani has joined the Sutra Advertising Group (Dubai) as a producer. She will be directly managing all the advertising output for the group as well as supervising their social media strategies.

Maria Leonor De Oliveira Verissimo is at Wildbrain, animation portal as a Channel Manager.
Freelance Colourist and Video Editor with experience in commercial online campaigns, short docs and feature films. Co-founder of Blunt Pencil Productions, offering post-production services.
Polly Hayes is currently working as an Editor with Spirit Post Production. Polly works across short and long form and including color grading and 2D animation. Her editing work includes the manifesto film for Philip Morris’ new campaign, ‘Mission Winnow’, as well as the film that opened the award winning Music 4 Mental Health. She also has Assistant Editor credits on The Stand Up Sketch Show.
Anil Douglas is working at ITN in the MCR as an Edit Assistant. Anil is part of the postproduction team delivering Dispatches for Channel 4. Anil has previously worked on feature-length and short films, Broadcast TV, media communications projects, branded content, adverts and commercials and digital video content.

Yvie works at Tinderflint as a short form content editor. She has also been creating motion graphics animations independent creative brand PPLRSTRANGE.
Sean has recently joined Sky Vision as a Technical Assistant. Sean has previously been working as an Assistant Editor on the documentary The Reason I Jump for Met Film Productions.
Maria has just joined Lipsync Post, as a junior DI Conform. She has been most recently working at Molinaire in the postproduction department. Maria will be working on The Baselight color grading system.
