As we journey through this new virtual world MetFilm School understands that prospective students may still want to connect with us but from the safety of their classrooms or within their own homes. Because of that, we have updated some of our outreach activities to now be enjoyed remotely and to be used by our school partners. We have also included an opportunity for your students to download some of our digital materials that may help them understand more about why MetFilm School is an exciting destination for their creative future, which you can forward directly. As part of our outreach activities for schools only, we currently have the following opportunities to connect with us virtually:
Practical Filmmaking Workshop
A popular workshop in how to make a film using just your smartphone, this is a fun, highly interactive session over almost 2 hours delivered virtually by some of our Outreach Student Ambassadors. Students will work individually or in pairs, depending on their location, to film and edit a simple film. The workshop will finish with a group screening and feedback.

This is a practical, 1.5 hour session hosted remotely by one of our admissions team. We will take your students through the process of applying to UCAS, how to write a personal statement, and the importance of preparing for their interview. A mixture of presentation and group work, your students will learn the value of submitting a good application and thereby increase the chances of being offered a place at a school.
