John Dower trained at the Northern Film School (Leeds) and the Polish National Film School, and now works as a director in film, television and video games.
His latest short film “The Day After Stonewall Died” won Best Short Film at the Cannes Short Film Festival 2014, and he is developing a feature film with the film’s writer.
He regularly directs for television and his latest work includes the “Wolfblood” series 5 for CBBC and “EastEnders” for BBC1.
He has worked as a motion capture, animation and voice director for Lionhead Studios/Microsoft on the Xbox/Kinect project “Milo & Kate”, and in video games, with credits including “007 Legends” (Activision) and “Risen” (Piranha Bytes).
His Motion Capture training and consultancy company runs workshops in the UK, USA and Germany.
