David Schwartz is the MA Cinematography Course Leader at Met Film School. David is an experienced cinematographer with numerous professional credits for commercials, features and television drama.
He has worked on both sides of the Atlantic for such high-end clients as MTV, MasterCard™, Amnesty International, Stella Artois and Kellogg’s. A graduate of the National Film and Television School, David also has extensive credits in television, including ‘Dr. Who’, ‘Judge John Deed’, ‘Stella’, ‘Lark Rise to Candleford’ and award-winning continuing dramas ‘Holby City’, ‘Casualty’ and ‘The Bill’.
A storyteller at heart, David directed, produced and shot ‘Palfi’, a moving documentary about a Vietnam veteran. David has taught cinematography at the BBC Academy, London Film School, Northern Film School, London Film Academy, and Tisch School of the Arts in New York. David has been invited to sit on a number of industry panels and was a jury member for the Royal Television Society London Student Awards in 2012.
