Since studying Met Film School’s From Story to Screen in Eight Weeks short course, David has made two feature length documentary features. The first, Erasing David, was an examination of the contemporary issue of surveillance and privacy and saw David commit himself personally to being the film’s focus. The film’s music was made by English composer Michael Nyman CBE and won the award for Best Feature Soundtrack at the East End Film Festival.
Three years later David directed and wrote another topical documentary, Project Wild Thing. The film carries a campaign like focus, urging parents to re-connect their children with nature, despite living in an increasingly digital world. The film premiered at the Sheffield Documentary Festival and, despite being released in 2013, continues to be screened at cinemas, schools and community centres around the world.
