Originally from Edinburgh, over the last 15 years, Reid has worked on a variety of films, programmes, and commercials, including 1 win and 3 BAFTA nominations, with others going on to win awards both at home and abroad. His concert music has featured in several recitals at the Royal Festival Hall in London, and in 2006, he won the Volkswagen Score Prize at the Berlin Film Festival.
First attempts at writing for short films, The Ring and Phillips Flashing Finger met with success, and led to work for Channel 4. He went on to study at the National Television School, leading to great collaborations.
