MetFilm School’s in-house production company, MetFilm Production, have released the trailer for their latest film Last Breath.

Six MetFilm graduates contributed to the documentary. Karen Simon (MA Producing) was the assistant production co-ordinator, while Beatriz Amaral Teixeira (MA Post Production), Petra Krilic (MA Producing), Sarah Saifi (BA Practical Filmmaking 2-Year), Eugenia Capula (MA Directing), and Gaby Fernandez Walean (MA Post Production) worked as production assistants.

The gripping docu-drama tells the story of a commercial diver stranded on the seabed with five minutes of oxygen left in his tank, but no chance of rescue for more than 30 minutes. The film combines amazing archive footage, with first-hand interviews to tell the true story of one man’s impossible fight for survival.

Last Breath received its UK premiere at the Glasgow Film Festival on 28 February 2019. MetFilm Production’s Stewart Le Maréchal and Al Morrow took part in a post-screening Q&A, alongside directors Alex Parkinson and Richard Da Costa.

Last Breath will be released in cinemas and on-demand on 5 April. Watch the trailer below, read TimeOut’s 4-star review and find out about cinema screenings near you.
