BA Students Celebrate Their Graduation Projects in Style – Photos
At the tail end of November recent graduates of Met Film School’s BA (Hons) Practical Filmmaking course, as well as the previously offered BA (Hons) Film & Digital Cinematography and BA (Hons) Film: Visual Effects & Animation courses, toasted the conclusion of their studies with a special screening of their grad projects on the big screen.
The 45 students who make up the school’s BAF12 cohort attended the customorary celebrations at Leicester Square’s cult favourite Prince Charles Cinema, where over two screening days they were treated to viewings covering different styles and mediums. Due to the colloborative nature of the Undergraduate courses, the occasion offers much collective enjoyment to friends who have often contributed to each others creative achievements.
Certificates were then awarded by various guest speakers and course leaders, including former Head of BFI Festivals Sandra Hebron, before a drinks reception held a stones throw from Shaftesbury Avenue.
“From all the tutors and staff here at the Met Film School; We wish you all the best for the future. You have been an unforgettable cohort who have shared laughs, tears and a few tantrums, but you have created some wonderful and quirky footage over these years.”
We wish our talented alumni the best of luck in the next steps of the careers in the creative industries. Judging by the projects on show, they certainly have exciting showreels with which to move forward. We can’t wait to see what they all create next!
