#MetChangeTheWorld Competition Winner Announced

By Danny Kelly | Categorised in Met Competitions, Cinema news, Film News

In celebration of this week’s release of award-winning feature documentary How to Change the World, we held a competition giving away two VIP tickets to the premiere at Picturehouse Central tonight, as well as place on our Part-Time Documentary Filmmaking course, taught by industry experts over 6 months.

To be in with a chance of winning applicants had to create a short film of 90 seconds or less, telling us what they’d change about the world, and how.

We had many interesting, inventive and thought provoking entries, each approaching the challenge from different perspectives. We passed a shortlist on to the team behind the making of How to Change the World – Met Film Production – for judging, and we are now pleased to share with you the winning video…

Stephen Gallacher – ‘Free From Fear’

We’d like to thank and congratulate Stephen for his winning entry. His video had an appropriate medititive style and successfully tapped into current issues.

The How to Change the World premiere + Q&A will be broadcast via satellite to selected UK cinemas tonight, with a nationwide release following on Friday 11th September. You can watch the film’s trailer here, and use the website’s booking app to find your nearest showing here.
