Rob Aying, a graduate of our MA Directing programme, had his short film Listen to Me selected to screen during the East End Film Festival this year.

Listen to Me is the story of a young musicologist who suspects her next-door neighbour of being in an abusive relationship.  It screens as part of the Shorts: Dig Me Out section of the festival, which features nine tales of characters stuck in a tight spot. Each film forces the audience to consider what they would do in each protagonists’ place.

Rob is honoured to have his work showcased at the festival, “Growing up in East London and having my short film screened at the East End Film Festival is a great privilege” he told us “and acknowledgement of the hard work the team and I did.

The film is being screened 2nd July, 6:30pm at the Genesis Cinema – book tickets here: http://www.eastendfilmfestival.com/programme-2015/15377/shorts-dig-me-out
