MetComedyChallenge – Make us laugh to study at Met

By Cassio | Categorised in News

Comedy and our home in Ealing Studios

Our school is based at Ealing Studios, arguably most famous for producing the Ealing Comedies, released between 1947 and 1957. Films such asPassport to Pimlico, The Ladykillers and The Lavender Hill Mob epitomised British comedy in the post-war era.

Comedy is therefore close to our hearts, and the genre is in constant change today. With this in mind we are launching a competition that gives you the chance to study a Met just by making us laugh. It’s that simple!

Our Competition

  1. Enter our #MetComedyChallenge for a chance to win a £10,000 Met Film School course voucher.

  1. Create a short film (no longer than 1 minute in length) designed to make us laugh.  It can be anything that you think is funny!

  1. Tweet us the video or a link to the video (@metfilmschool) including the hastag: #metcomedychallenge

  1. Enter by 15th April for your chance to win.

The Judges

Entries will be judged by a panel of experts, including Richard Herring, stand-up comedian and writer, and Ava Vidal, best known for being a panelist onMock the Week and housemate on E4’s Kings of Comedy.
