1. You will learn the core skills to launch a career as a Producer or start a Production company 

The programme covers core business skills from setting up your own production company, securing film commissions, team management to providing a firm grounding in the practical fundamentals of filmmaking. See Course Specification


2. Get access to leading industry experts.

Students get to discuss their ideas with guest speakers from the filmmaking world. Guests have included: Adrian Hodges Producer of BBC’s The Musketeers & Tony Orsten, CEO of The Imaginarium Studios, responsible for special effects on Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.


3.Work on real industry projects.

Students work on a real brief from an external client leading a filmmaking team. Producers lead industry project sourcing and development Example of an integrated project: Stonewall’s 25th Anniversary video. 


4.Gain exposure to the producing workplace.

Our programme involves students conducting an industry field research project where they spend time at production companies. These have included TV companies such as World Productions (behind Peaky Blinders) to online businesses including FoodTube(Jamie Oliver’s YouTube channel).


5.Get support to launch your creative career
