The launch of BFI Young Filmmakers’ Academy

Met Film School working in partnership with The Lyric Hammersmith are excited to present an amazing opportunity for 16-19 year olds to be part of the BFI Young Filmmakers Academy.
We are looking for committed and talented young people to be a part of this programme.
Met Film School students on location
BFI Film Academy participants will work closely with leading industry professionals, who can offer a unique insight into the filmmaking process. They will get to work with filmmakers and take part in a series of masterclasses, workshops and will be offered hands-on experience to help develop their filmmaking abilities.
This course provides an opportunity to work with professionals and other young filmmakers to create short films, which will be presented at a special event.
NOTE: Places on this course are extremely limited and are by application only. 
 
The deadline for applications is 12pm on Fri 05 Dec.
