Met Film School in partnership with the Independent is running an exclusive competition showcasing the best documentaries from our students. Vote now for your favourite film.

Met Film School students were asked to submit documentaries telling the audience “something we didn’t know”. Documentaries submitted could be no longer than 6 minutes.  Students from our BA Programme and our short documentary courses submitted a range of work.
A broad range of entries was received in January from our students and graduates. Independent newspaper’s team of journalists, reviewed entries and created a shortlist of 10 films, which they believed to be the Best of the Best”.
The independent are now calling on the public to vote for their favourite film and an Audience Choice Prize will be given to the most popular film based on the public’s votes.  The winner of this prize will win a The GoPro Hero 3 + Black Edition.
The Indy Docs Competition Grand Prize of £1000 will be decided by a panel of judges including the school’s CEO Jonny Persey, Met Film Production’s Head of Documentary; Al Morrow, and former student and award-winning documentary filmmaker Gauri Chadha.
