Met Film School Hosts Masterclass with Judy Morris

By Cassio | Categorised in News

It was an absolute pleasure to host a masterclass with Writer, Director and Actor Judy Morris (HAPPY FEET, EYE OF THE STORM) who is currently working on developing a film with Met Film Production.  There was a full house with plenty of questions for Judy from Met Film School students.

Judy gave an insight into her own career and how she got into the business with her lively and “just do it” attitude. Starting out as an actor, then moving into writing and directing, she collaborated and gained her basic training with George Miller and his company in Australia.
Judy has worked on a number of different television shows and films, and most recently co-wrote Happy Feet, Australia’s largest animated film project to date.
She has been nominated for several awards during her career including, Australian Film Institute (AFI) award for Best Actress in a lead role for The More Things Change, and an Annie Award for the Best Writing in an Animated Production for Happy Feet.
The key theme of the Q&A was “Be relentless” and never to believe your own publicity, because fortunes can change so quickly.
