Leila is a feature film from writer/director and Met Film School tutor Leslie Manning. The film will premiere at the London Independent Film Festival in East London on Saturday April 23rd.

Leila was crewed in part by Met Film School students who worked on the film for their BA (Hons) Practical Filmmaking programme, for the feature film module. The film is the story of Paul and Leila, a couple with a happy family dynamic and the parents of two children. However their idyllic set-up begins to unravel as Paul begins to doubt his own sanity.

The experimental approach to production allowed eight heads of department at the Met Film School to produce a film for students to crew. The opportunity gave students a unique on-set experience and resulted in a successful feature project.
