Masterclass: From BritFilm to Hollywood

We have a great masterclass coming up at the Met Film School.

On the evening of September 2nd Dean Craig the writer of feature filmDeath At A Funeral will be at the Met Film School to talk about the comparative process of making the same film, both in the UK and in America – Dean was also the Executive Producer on the American version which reached number 4 in the UK box office in June 2010.


Death At A Funeral was made into two films, a UK and USA version and Dean will be at the school to discuss the unique comparative experience of making the same film in the independent UK market and through an American studio.

If you didn’t catch the UK or USA versions in cinemas, Death At A Funeral the UK version is available on DVD so you can watch it ahead of the masterclass on September 2nd.

Death at a Funeral, USA was released in 2010, directed by Neil LaBute the film stars Luke Wilson, Danny Glover and Peter Dinklage
