14-Week Courses at MetFilm School

In light of the current COVID-19 situation around the world and the closure of the London campus, we have made some temporary changes to our short course offering.

The next set of our Six-Month Full-Time courses are due to begin on Monday 20th April. Since we are unable to start these courses currently on campus, we have made the decision to postpone the start dates for four of these courses, and offer them in a new condensed format of 14-weeks, starting 29 June 2020 and finish on Fri 9 Oct 2020 (as originally scheduled in the Six-Month timetable).

There will be weekly one-hour online pre-induction sessions from 20 April, covering Introduction & Overview, My Favourite Film, The Industry, Pitching Ideas, Ideas Factory, Sound Design, Music in Film, Docudrama, Filmmakers in Lockdown as well as several individual course exercises set from 18 May, concluding with Screening, Review and Q&A session on 22 June – the week prior to students hopefully joining the course on campus.

New applicants can join these sessions when they sign up to the course. The course structure and learning outcomes as well as the price, have been adjusted accordingly to reflect this new timeline and structure.
