  • Provides an introduction to the fundamental skills required to create content for film, television and online media
  • Suitable for complete beginners, no previous experience is required

What you will study

  • Introduction to visual storytelling
  • The fundamentals of directing, camera operating and editing
  • The basic elements of cinematography
  • How to record sound and how it can be used to dramatic effect
  • Introduction to the roles of Scriptwriter, Director, Camera Operator, Sound Recordist, Editor and 1st Assistant
  • Preparing and working on a film set
  • Working with professional actors
