Two-Week Directing

  • Two-week full-time course (Monday-Friday, 10am-5pm)
  • For students who want to build confidence to direct short scenes or sequences
  • Cover the core tools to create high quality, independent work
  • A basic understanding of film and some previous experience is recommended for this course

This two-week course equips you with the skills which will help you stand out as director in film, television and online media industries in today’s competitive market. 

  • Receive an introduction to the core directing skills, including crew roles,  shooting etiquette and hierarchy, shot lists, storyboards and floorplans work
  • Work with professional actors and learn how to get the best of them
  • Learn how to analysis and break down a script to shoots
  • Receive introduction to scheduling and budgeting from a director’s point of view
  • Build producing skills, essential for freelance directors and entrepreneurs
