WHAT WILL YOU STUDY?

  • Script Structure: You will learn about the basic three act structure used across moving image media formats. Core structures for film,TV and online will be discussed.
  • Story development: You will learn about character development and dialogue styles and how to develop an original voice for your work
  • Collaborating with actors: Towards the end of the course you will have the opportunity to work with actors who will read through work. In addition, you will get the opportunity to gain feedback on the work you produce during the course from industry professional tutors.
  • Industry understanding: You will gain an overview of the screenwriting industry and the opportunities it provides for screenwriters, plus learn more about ways you can showcase your work across a variety of platforms.
